  1. Tracking and Communication
  • Account Manager: Each client is assigned a dedicated account manager as a single point of contact
  • Real-Time Tracking: Shipment status updates are provided via email and phone. Tracking numbers are provided once cargo is booked with the carrier
  • Proactive Updates: Egress notifies clients of any delays, route changes, or documentation issues as soon as they arise
  1. Customs Clearance

Egress maintains in-house licensed customs brokers stationed at Cairo International Airport and Alexandria Port. Pre-clearance procedures are used to minimize delays. Clients are responsible for ensuring their documentation is complete and accurate. Any duties, taxes, or fees imposed by customs authorities are the Client’s responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise.[4]

  1. Warehousing and Storage

Egress operates bonded, climate-controlled warehousing facilities in Cairo. Storage charges are billed separately and vary by duration, cargo type, and space requirements. Free storage periods (if applicable) are specified in the quotation.

  1. Service Area

Egress provides services to and from all major global trade routes, with particular expertise in Egypt–Europe, Egypt–USA, Egypt–Asia, and intra-Middle East/Africa corridors. Domestic services cover all Egyptian governorates.
